I read your presentation before The US Congress Oversight Hearing Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Human Rights On “U.S. Policy Toward Nigeria: West Africa’s Troubled Titan July 10, 2012. And as usual, you did not fail to impress me. You impressed me because of how clearly you spoke in defence of your people. It was typically bias and sentimental, but hey no problemo, nobody expects you to speak for Muslims anyway.
If a Muslim were to address the Congress Subcommittee, he would have gone to the root of the Boko Haram Crisis by stating how hundreds of the members of the once peaceful group were targeted and summarily executed in the street of Maiduguri by the Christian controlled Nigeria Police and Army in June/July 2009.
But what the hell, nobody appointed you to speak for the hundreds of innocent Muslims killed that year.
A Muslim would definitely had talked about the siege, killings and cannibalization of countless number of Muslim worshippers on Eid (Salla) Day in Jos last year, by Christian youths.
A Muslim would have shared with the world the incident of May 2, 2004, in Yelwa, where more than 630 Muslims were killed, many raped before been killed by Christian youths wearing shirts with pinned white name tags identifying them as CAN members and how Mosques in the area were conveniently converted to brothels and beer parlours by Christians.
But you are CAN president, you speak only for Christians and for that, no problem.
No problem I thought, until you got to almost the end of your presentation and started sounding like a Nigerian Muslim. Let me quote you:
- “We too, want to have freedom, freedom of religion, freedom to worship as we choose without fear, we want to have justice, based in equality and not driven by discriminatory religious practices. Let me remind us that this is not about economics but about an ideology that has a history of sponsoring genocide across the globe.”
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor addressing a US Congress subcommittee.
Everything you said sounded like nonsense to us until your above quote, because you spoke the minds of over 75 Million Nigeria Muslims. Your comment sir, represent our demand, as Muslim, from the Nigerian Government and Christian community for so long. Freedom, equal rights, Justice and fairness has always been our demand.
The only religious ideology that has spread genocide in the past 1000 years and more is the Christian ideology. The Crusades, Inquisitions, Holocausts and Colonialism all goes to the account of Christians, Sir.
For the advancement of Christianity and the Christian baptised western civilisation, the lives of about 20 million Aborigines (Australia) and 150 million Indians (North and South America) were sacrificed by your slave masters and proponents of your religion.
For the “Glory of Christ”, about 180 million Africans, Muslims and Pagans, were taken as slaves from Africa, 88% of them were killed or thrown into the Atlantic ocean, while 12% were taken as slaves and forcefully converted to Christianity.
The first and Second world wars were fought at the instance of Christians. The allege killing of 6 million Jews was done by Hitler, who himself was a religious Christian.
Mr. Pastor Sir, the country (USA) you refer to as “great” sent nuclear bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II killing hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese, while refusing to turn the other chick as instructed Christ himself. ‘Your’ great country (USA) committed countless atrocities in Vietnam including genocides and using chemical weapons on civilians that over half a century after still leads to deformation of new born.
Mr. Pastor, tell your masters to stop killing Muslims in the middle east and east Africa. Tell your people who killed and cannibalised Muslim worshippers in Jos last year, to stop attacking and killing Muslim travellers passing through Plateau State. Tell them to free hundreds of Muslim Children they have kidnapped over the years and using as slaves.
The monster, your boys in the Police and Army created (Boko Haram) for us through their bloody crackdown in 2009 have killed 90% more Muslims than Christians, so tell your boys in JTF to stop murdering Muslims, burning houses belonging to Muslims and killing us in our homes in Borno.
The Muslims are saying:
We too want to have freedom of religion,
Freedom to worship as we choose without fear,
We want to have justice, based in equality and not driven by discriminatory religious practices.
We want to also remind you, your people and your masters that your attempt to coerce your religion down our throats, paralyse our economy and force a perverted western ideology on us will never succeed.
We asked for Shari’ah not for Christians, but for us, Muslims. We refuse to continuously leave in the shadow of Christianity because we are Muslims.
